Multiple Compound Slides

Lico offers 2 compound slides as standard on the LND-D series CNC mill turn machines. But with customization we can add 1 or 2 additional compound slides according to customer's cutting requirements. Each compound slide is servo controlled with 70mm of X axis travel and 115mm of travel on the Z axis.

These slides are perfect for OD turning, ID boring / drilling, parting, and can all work simultaneously to drastically reduce your cycle times and increase your machines productivity.

Y Axis Slide

With the new Y slide on the LND-D machines, you get ±55mm of Y Axis travel to hugely increase your milling and turning capabilities. You can use multiple tools in a single tool position, to increase your tooling versatility and reduce tool set up times. You can also program for contoured milling and other complex geometries with this new Y axis capability.

With the addition of the front / back tool positions on the powerful servo turret, this means you can share this Y axis functionality between the two spindles to increase your complex cutting capabilities.

Back Machining

With the VDI-30 turret you have the same machining capability on the counter spindle as on the main spindle. All of the tooling options are the same, so you can still carry out all of the Y axis milling and turning on the counter spindle side.

Over Head Servo Parts Catcher

The newly designed overhead servo parts catcher for the LND-D series machines delivers fully programmable location control. This is servo powered to give you rapid movement control and allows for precise pick up and drop location programming.

With full servo control, you can also catch components from either the main or counter spindle. With this catcher you can also program to catch and deliver your bar ends to a separate container, keeping your production running smoothly.

This gives you an advantage over other pneumatic type parts catchers so you can maintain your automated production, no matter what parts you are producing.

Rigid Headstock

  • The headstock is ruggedly constructed for maximum rigidity and stability
  • The spindle runs on class P4 high precision bearings, providing maximum speed per model of 5000 / 4500 / 4000 rpm
  • The collet chuck-type spindle is actuated by a rotary cylinder, providing fast workpiece chucking

  • The machine is equipped with your choice of CNC control, providing dialog programming for user-friendly operations
  • Graphic tool tracing makes training & operations much easier

Coolant Pumps

  • Three coolant pumps system to insure plenty of coolant supply for chip removal, smooth machining & unattended operations
  • One with big pumping volume for flashing all over and two with 70 bars high pressure jets to tool tips for forcing chip removal

Parts Outfeed Conveyor

  • A parts conveyor is available to equip in the front side of the machine, this automatically delivers the finished parts into a collection tank for convenient handling
  • The parts conveyor running is program-controlled by M code & running frequency can be set as desired by the operator

Chip Conveyor

  • The screw-type chip conveyor comes equipped with a chip cart
  • Link-type chip conveyor is available upon request

Automatic Bar Feeder 1.2~3.7 Meters

The LICO CNC Automatic Lathe accommodates various brands of bar feeders. With the use of an automatic bar feeder, the CNC lathe will perform fully automatic operations. Significantly reducing labor costs, and upgrading your production efficiency, a bar feeder is recommended.

No special requirements or restrictions on material straightness. Material rotates within machining area and spindle length of lathe.
